This results-oriented customized facial is a twist on our signature facial for those hot summer days. We use products that are cooling, soothing and leaves skin feeling fresh, renewed and clear of impurities. It includes deep pore cleansing and a healing mask to reduce oil, calm sun-stressed skin and leave a healthy-looking glow.

1. SOOTHING CLEANSING CRÈME
Gentle cleanse with the Soothing Cleansing Crème, a pore-purifying facial cleanser which reduces excess oil and unclogs pores, without stripping skin and visibly diminishes redness. A secondary cleanse is necessary for those with makeup on their skin. Allow your touch to feel soft yet intentional with a slow effleurage rhythm. Remove with a warm EO-free towel. Optional: Steam lightly during cleansing if you decide to extract the skin. Extract immediately after steaming. This should last 5-7 minutes max.
 

2. FACIAL RINSE 

Our refreshing and calming alcohol-free toner (or rinse as we call it) removes excess oil, makeup residue, clarifies and freshens the complexion without stripping skin. Over 15 anti-inflammatory and anti-septic botanicals work to reduce redness, soothe breakouts and restore the skin's natural balance. Apply a generous amount Facial Rinse on a facial 4x4 to massage lightly all over the skin. If the client’s skin is highly inflamed with heavy erythema, apply multiple 4x4s soaked to cover the full face and massage with gentle tapotement to calm the compromised barrier.

3. GOMMAGE EXFOLIATING GEL®

Gommage is a manual (also called physical exfoliation) exfoliant- a satisfying and safe alternative to scrubs and microbeads, Gommage allows you to see the skin shedding while the product comes off – giving you instant radiance. It helps your skin without thinning out or creating small tears on its surface. The gel-like consistency will attach to the dead skin cells and after a few minutes, the friction between your hands and the gel will release from the surface of the skin leaving you with a soft, glowing layer. Exfoliate skin by applying an even layer of Gommage Exfoliating Gel®, to face, neck and décolleté. A second layer may be necessary if skin is dehydrated. Allow to penetrate for 1-2 minutes. When it is damp/tacky, hold skin taut and remove with your fingertips using the soft and light effleurage technique until those ultra-satisfying little white balls and flakes start to form. Remove any excess with a natural bristle Half Moon brush or dry tissue.

4. GLYCOPOLYMER PEEL PADS- [MILD STRENGTH FOR SUMMER MONTHS]

We have now prepped the skin by cleansing, toning and getting rid of surface dead skin. Now we apply the Proprietary Chemical Peel formulation – Sonage Glycopolymer – safer, more refined and more effective than glycolic acid. Benefits include cellular renewal, brightening and rejuvenating skin. Apply Glycopolymer Peel Pad PRO Mild to face, neck and décolleté. Make sure to avoid eye and lip area. Repeat over pigmented spots. Utilize both sides of the peel pad. Fan can be used for client comfort during this step. Leave active for 60-90 seconds. Use Facial Rinse compresses to cool the skin if excessive stinging or redness occurs. We leave the mild strength Glycolopolymer active (no neutralization necessary).

5. NMF HYALURONIC SERUM®

The Sonage Hyaluronic Acid serum is a gel-based water-holding formulation that is critical in maintaining skin hydration. Gently massage a thin layer of the NMF Hyaluronic Serum® to the face, neck, and décolleté to help immedi­ately plump the skin.

6. TULSI SOOTHING TRI CLAY MASK & FRIOZ ICY GLOBES 

Tulsi Clay Mask is a high-performance mask containing a calming blend of three mineral-rich clays with a trifecta of healing Ayurvedic herbs — harnessing the ancient science of self-healing and longevity. The mask extracts toxins and impurities the detoxifies the skin while delivering minerals to calm redness and maintain a smooth, fresh complexion. Brush on an even thin layer of the Tulsi Soothing Tri Clay Mask. Cover the face with a damp gauze. Gently glide the Frioz Ice Globes* (place them in the fridge for 15 minutes before use) globes over the damp gauze in a clockwise, outward motion. Repeat around the eye area and in the areas with redness or blemishes. Repeat each movement 5-6 times. This will keep the mask damp and allow a cooling sensation. Remove mask with damp cotton or 4x4.

7. LUSTER EYE CRÈME®

Infused with collagen, the Sonage Luster Eye cream works to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. Apply Luster Eye Crème® following the orbital bone. Dab under eye gently starting from inside corner to outside corner, using light pressure to help penetrate. Avoid eyelids.

8. C SHIELD SMART SERUM®

Follow with Sonage C Shield Smart Serum, a potent vitamin C water-based serum that harnesses a unique liposomal delivery system to shield from blue light induced environmental aging and helps the skin appear more radiant. The extra boost of citrus-derived Vitamin C helps even the skin tone. Apply C Shield Smart Serum® to face, neck, and décolleté.

9. BOTANICA SOUFFLE CREME®

Mattifying whipped cream texture packed with a garden's worth of botanicals to nourish and replenish moisture. Apply Botanica Souffle Crème® - a lightweight moisturizer to face, neck, and décolleté.
